KanoonMasr processes legal documents solely to provide the service. We do not sell customer data or use it to train third-party models. This policy is designed in alignment with the Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 151 of 2020).
1. Data Collection
- Account information: name, email address, company, and phone number provided during registration or demo requests.
- Usage data: queries, documents uploaded, and interactions within the platform for service improvement.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, and device information for security and analytics.
2. Data Usage
- To provide, maintain, and improve the KanoonMasr service.
- To communicate with you about your account, updates, and support.
- To ensure security, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
3. Data Retention
Data is retained for the duration of your account plus 30 days after deletion. Cached legal data from public sources follows configurable retention policies. Audit logs are retained for 12 months.
4. User Rights
- Access: You can request a copy of your personal data at any time.
- Correction: You can update inaccurate information through your account settings.
- Deletion: You can request full deletion of your account and associated data.
- Portability: You can export your data in standard formats.
5. Third Parties
KanoonMasr uses third-party infrastructure providers for hosting and AI model inference. These providers are contractually bound to process data only as instructed. We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
6. Data Deletion Request
To request deletion of your data, email hello@kanoonmasr.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request” and include your account email. We will process your request within 30 days and confirm deletion by email.
